Day Seven
This morning it was back into the park early.
Our expectations were realistic after two incredible days but still the Mara managed to surprise us!
After some fantastic views of hyena, zebra,
Thompson’s gazelle and impala we drove further on to see a cheetah enjoying its epic kill of a wildebeest. It was fantastic to see the big cat enjoying its meal so passionately. With a heavy heart we exited the park by around 10 and continued on the dirt track to Narok to grab some supplies.

After everyone had enjoyed their lunch we continued onto the East African Rift Valley viewpoint. Cameras all out to see the stunning landscape that stretches all the way down to Mozambique.
Arriving into our Nairobi camp by 5pm, it was hot showers all round (and use of the first wifi of the trip! ) before we all headed out for dinner at The Talisman, a local Nairobi restaurant.
Here we enjoyed a great meal as we reminisced about just how fortunate we have been on this trip and all the experiences and laughs we have shared.
It was goodbyes and contact details were swapped all round as we said a big ‘cheers’ to a fantastic trip!
Thanks again to Sander Reinders for his photo of the cheetah.
