You will need spending money to cover drinks, lunch and souvenirs whilst on tour. Spending money is also needed to cover meals when the truck is parked up during our stay in Cape Town. Some campsites en route also have simple huts in which you can stay if you feel like a break from camping. Budget into your spending money then if you think you may wish to upgrade occasionally. The recommended spending money for the Garden Route is: US$310 - US$365
