Visit Nairobi's famous elephant orphanage established by the Sheldricks, and dedicated to the support of orphaned wildlife, which are carefully raised and, wherever possible, rehabilitated to be released back into the wild. Their work, particularly with elephants, is world famous.
During the half day excursion we also visit The Giraffe Park, set in the extensive grounds of a traditional manor house. Here you can get eye to eye with giraffe to hand feed them, including the rare Rothschild giraffe.
We also visit the Karen Blixen museum, set in the farmhouse where the writer, whose life was portrayed in the movie 'Out of Africa', lived between 1914 and 1931.
