Nairobi to Kigali

Days 1 - 2
KENYA

Departure meeting, The Giraffe Park, Sheldrick’s elephant orphanage, Rift Valley, Maasai village visit including bush walk

Days 3 - 6
KENYA

Game drives in the Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha.

Optionals:   Balloon safari, Elsamere for afternoon tea, cycling safari in Hells Gate National Park or guided walk to Crater Lake Sanctuary, Hippo boat cruise on Lake Naivasha.

Days 7 - 9
KENYA

Nakuru, game drives in Lake Nakuru National Park, Eldoret.

Days 10 - 12
UGANDA

Jinja, the White Nile

Optionals: White water rafting, bungee jump, kayaking, boat trips and cruises, incl. fishing trips, sups, visit a local school, quad biking, horse riding, mountain biking.

Days 13 - 16
UGANDA

Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Kampala, Lake Mburo National Park including boat trip and guided game drive, craft and drum markets.

Optionals: Guided safari walks

Days 17 - 20
UGANDA - RWANDA

Kalinzu, Kisoro and the Virungas, Musanze.

Optionals: , Chimpanzee trekking in a Ugandan forest, Mountain gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (Uganda), Golden monkey trek or orphanage visit. Batwa (Pygmy) village visit or coffee tour. Lake Mutande. Trek to Dian Fossey's gravesite, Banana beer making, Basket weaving.

Day 21 - 22
RWANDA

Kigali. Genocide Memorial and Museum, Tour includes final night’s accommodation on day 22.

Optionals: Nyamata Church Memorial.
