Before You Go - Jinja to Cape Town

Jinja to Cape Town

You will see below a link to the Wildlife Journey Pre-Departure Pack which contains a ton of information to help plan your trip

We hope you find the information compiled over 30 years of experience overlanding to be of help planning your adventure.

It is filled with details as to the best flight arrangements, transfers to Jinja to join the trip and arrangements for when you finish in Cape Town. There is information on what to pack, vaccination and visa guides, how to take your travel money and much more.

There are a variety of excursions and activities available on this route and there is information available on the big highlights including the gorilla trek and Zanzibar Island stay.

The trips too offer you many opportunities to help out and get involved in local projects en route.

Particularly as we start in Jinja on this tour there is the option to help out with Soft Power – a charity organization working with local Ugandan schools and preschools in Jinja. Talk to us if you would like more information as to how to get involved to give something back as part of your trip.

We will send out personal updates around 10 days before departure to all participants heading out on each departure date. This includes final confirmations of your prebooked transfers and accommodation as well as other details relating to your specific travel arrangements so you can check all is as you need.

Be sure to come back here to this page periodically as the information is regularly updated, as is the news section on the website.

Our Facebook and twitter pages are also great places to stay in touch to keep you up to date.

We are also on Instagram. And check out our blogs too. They are full of the real day to day stuff of travelling on the road on a big yellow truck so you can feel like you are already there……
