Five were staying at the Wildebeest Eco Camp so we headed there first and met Mike, Stephen, Suzanne, Jasper and Robert before heading over to the Heron Hotel to collect Phil, Mark, Emma and Leila. The truck was nice and full and the sound of greetings and laughter echoed around! We had a fair bit of a drive to the border today so used the time to get to know each other.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.absoluteafrica.com\/liveblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PC060990.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-1548\" src=\"http:\/\/www.absoluteafrica.com\/liveblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PC060990-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"PC060990\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.absoluteafrica.com\/liveblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PC060990-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.absoluteafrica.com\/liveblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/10\/PC060990-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a>Crossing the border just after a quick lunch stop, we waved goodbye to Kenya and took our first steps into Tanzania.
