Once in Africa you pay the following on the ground costs:
The group kitty
The kitty is an essential group payment payable in Africa on day one.
The group kitty covers two meals a day and camping throughout whilst with the truck.
It also covers entry into The Giraffe Park in Nairobi, The Masai Mara with a visit to a traditional
Maasai village, Nakuru National Park and Queen Elizabeth National Park including the game
cruise on the Kazinga Channel as well as Ngorongoro Crater.
Remember the kitty payment is a group funds that you pay into locally. Where there is money left
over the group together decide what then happens to any remaining funds
Optional extras
A recommended typical budget for your optional excursions that might pay for
once in Africa would be:

*Some months the truck drives the alternate route through the Serengeti and the
Serengeti then comes out of the group kitty resulting in a reduction in price £115.
Spending money
You will also need spending money to cover drinks, lunch, souvenirs, and meals
and camping when the group isn't with the truck. This money also covers if you
wish to upgrade occasionally from camping.
